Serrateix is a magnificent viewpoint of the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains and Catalonia’s inland counties. Pine-needle forests still abound near the stream, Riera de Navel, where you might have a swim or even go fishing. The area also offers great hunting opportunities, particularly for rabbits, partridges and wild boars.

Our calendar of events features the Festes Majors or Town Festivals, the procession of the Sants Màrtirs (Martyr Saints), the Festivals of Sant Urbici and Sant Miquel, the Festes d’Octubre (October Festivals) with the Altarpiece performance and the Ball de Cascavells (dance with little bells) in Viver i Serrateix.
